John Bolles got his start in the music business as lead guitarist and vocalist for the band Glad. He sang lead vocal on the band’s first single on ABC Records, then went on to do session work in Nashville. Once back in the Philadelphia area, John performed with his wife Kass as a duo at private affairs and public venues. John is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer, creating recordings for local artists as well as himself. As the keyboardist in Highway Run, John enjoys the role of helping to “hold down the fort” with his rhythmically oriented playing style. John also makes himself useful by helping fine-tune the band’s vocal harmonies.
